Cancer Care Navigator ("Cancer Care Navigator," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit www.cancercarenavigator.com, contact us, schedule a consultation, purchase a service, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the "Services").
Cancer Care Navigator provides educational, research-based cancer-care navigation and decision-support services. We do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatment, or replace your physicians or other licensed healthcare professionals.

Information you provide directly
Contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, and preferred contact method.
Scheduling and transaction information, such as appointment details, services purchased, billing status, and transaction history. Payment-card information is processed by our payment provider; we generally do not receive or store complete payment-card numbers.
Communications, including messages, questions, feedback, and correspondence you send to us.
Consumer health information, such as information about a diagnosis, medical report, treatment options, care needs, or your relationship to a patient, if you choose to provide it.
Documents or records, if you voluntarily provide them through a method we have designated for that purpose.
Please do not send Social Security numbers, insurance identification numbers, payment-card details, or medical records through a general website contact form or ordinary email. We will provide instructions if documents are needed for a service.

When you use the website, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

We do not sell consumer health data. We do not use consumer health data for targeted advertising.

4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to make the website function, remember preferences, understand website usage, prevent fraud, and measure advertising performance.
Some browsers or privacy tools allow you to block or delete cookies. Doing so may affect website functionality. Where required by law, we will request consent before using nonessential cookies and will honor applicable opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control.
We do not use information indicating that a person has, may have, or is seeking help for cancer to create remarketing lists or personalized advertising audiences. We do not upload information submitted through health-related forms to advertising platforms for audience targeting.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not sell consumer health data.

10. Email and Text Communications
You may unsubscribe from promotional email by selecting the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting us. You will continue to receive nonpromotional communications necessary to provide requested Services or complete transactions.
If we offer text messaging, consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out by replying STOP. Please do not send detailed medical information by text message.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the website. A parent or legal guardian should contact us when seeking information or support concerning a minor. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, please contact us.
12. HIPAA Notice
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) applies only to covered entities and their business associates in specified circumstances. Cancer Care Navigator does not represent through this Privacy Policy that it is a HIPAA-covered healthcare provider or that all information submitted to it is protected health information under HIPAA. Regardless of whether HIPAA applies, we treat health-related information as sensitive and protect it as described in this Policy and applicable law.
13. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our website may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Policy. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information.
14. Visitors Outside the United States
Cancer Care Navigator is based in the United States. If you access the Services from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location. Contact us before submitting health-related information if you are outside the United States.

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice supplements the Cancer Care Navigator Privacy Policy. It describes our practices regarding "consumer health data" as defined by applicable consumer health privacy laws, including Washington’s My Health My Data Act and Nevada’s consumer health data law.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
information about a cancer diagnosis, test result, pathology or imaging report, treatment plan, treatment option, clinical-trial interest, symptoms, medical history, or care need that you voluntarily provide;
appointment and service information that may reveal a health-related purpose;
communications between you and Cancer Care Navigator concerning health-related questions or support;
information identifying you as a patient, family member, caregiver, or representative seeking cancer-care guidance;
documents you voluntarily provide through a method designated by us; and
